Cape Town's city sights and a game reserve's wild wonders make this tour one you'll remember forever.
With astonishingly beautiful Table Mountain to the south and the Atlantic Ocean's thunderous waves to the north, Cape Town's views have got it going on. But the scenes unfolding daily on its city streets prove equally colorful: brightly painted facades house sidewalk cafés and art galleries buzzing with folks of all skin colors. The active population embraces surfing, biking, and myriad other outdoor adventures—the more hair-raising, the better. And jovial Cape Town doesn't skimp on the music; people could break into song and dance on any corner at any time, and no one would be surprised.
On the opposite corner of South Africa, Mabula Game Reserve in the Limpopo Province has all the vast landscapes and wild animals you'd expect of a safari destination. This 30,000-acre territory is home to the Big Five—lions, leopards, buffalo, African elephants, and rhinoceros—as well as countless other animals, including hyenas, cheetahs, hippos, giraffes, zebras, and even honey badgers. Spotting wildlife on game drives is obviously an unforgettable experience—but you should still bring your camera on this ten-day trip, courtesy of Africa Answers.

"Strikingly beautiful and separated by a barrier of mountains, Cape Town looks and feels different from the rest of South Africa... But Cape Town's real draw is its vibrant multiculturalism."-- Frommer's
