About Barron's London Salon

After growing up and learning precision cutting and hair coloring in London, David Barron came to Atlanta for a job as a stylist on the set of Fried Green Tomatoes. Since then, he's had a hand in the hairdos of many celebrities, including Glenn Close, Elton John, Jimmy Carter, and the Duchess of York. His skill is as much technical as it is social—he strives to connect with each client before doing anything else. That way, he can style their hair to suit their personality, instead of just vouching for the newest trend or the biggest hat.

He's so devoted to his client-based business model that he handpicked his team of stylists for their ability to follow it—and, of course, for their scissor-wielding prowess. Their precision cuts and color treatments have earned the salon numerous mentions in magazines and media, from Best of Citysearch to Southern Living. In addition to publications such as Allure, Modern Salon, and InStyle Hair showcasing his work, David himself has garnered scores of personal accolades. He earned a spot as a finalist for Hairstylist of the Year for NAHA and is a two-time International Stylist of the Year finalist for the Mirror Awards. He has won others more recently.
