The first session involves the initial design and application, while the second session (usually 6-8 weeks later) is a touch-up to perfect the shape, color, and ensure optimal pigment retention. Permanent eyeliner often only requires 1-2 sessions, with the second session for perfecting details. After each session, proper aftercare is essential. Clients should avoid excessive moisture, direct sunlight, and activities that cause sweating for the first 7-10 days. We recommend applying a prescribed ointment to the treated area to help with healing and prevent scabbing. Touching or picking at the area can compromise the results, so it’s important to follow aftercare instructions carefully.
