hotel description

A luxury hotel, the Waldorf Astoria Park City heralds a high standard of service and enticing surroundings. Nestled among the peaks of the picturesque Wasatch Mountains, this Forbes Four-Star-rated spot is located at the base of Canyons Resort, and was named one of the top ten ski resorts in North America in the annual SKI Magazine reader survey. The private dedicated Waldorf Gondola provides year-round access to Canyons' 4,000 acres of varied terrain, offering world-class skiing and snowboarding with North America's only chair lift with heated seats. There are also Orange Bubble Express and apres ski gatherings that occur daily at the Ski Beach. As the snow melts and flowers begin to bloom, the resort becomes an alpine summer paradise, where activities including hiking, biking, horseback riding, fishing, boating, and golfing abound. Here, the skies are crystal blue, the hills are painted with wildflowers, and the town is enlivened with fresh mountain breezes. Summer in the Rockies is a time of cultural celebration with countless outdoor concerts, street fairs, and farmer's markets, including the weekly Park Silly Sunday Market, The Park City Food-Wine Classic, the Park City Kimball Arts Festival, and Canyons Resort Summer Concert Series.

pros: The outdoor fireplaces and smores. Entry fireplace and spiral staircase was very nice. Outside decks and hot tubs were very inviting.
cons: The steam room closed at 9pm. Multiple machines in the gym were non functional. Room was nice but small. The glass on the fireplace needed to be cleaned.
