I never interviewed for a job I did not get, until being laid off when I was 59. I got four interviews in the course of a year, not bad considering. Four times I showed up properly groomed and dressed, and four times I saw the interviewer avert his/her eyes, and the interview turned into a recitation by the interviewer, crowing about the company.
