In fact, many of the family-friendly business's beginner-level courses are designed with safety in mind, catering both to those who own their own firearms as well as to those who may never purchase one. In doing so, the instructors cover basic handgun-safety principles such as how the fight-or-flight instinct can affect variables in self-defense situations and the benefits of the Center Axis Relock technique. At the same time, they foster a non-intimidating environment that welcomes teens and seniors. The CCW Pros instructors specialize in concealed-carry courses and they also lead NRA-approved classes, tactical defensive pistol courses, and women's self-defense courses, among other programs.
