Q&A with Dr Deb Barnett, Owner and Founder

Besides making clients happy, what do you like most about your job?

I have the opportunity to blend my professional work as a psychologist with the insights I gained through my personal journey of attracting an amazing man into my life. I am delighted to say this man is now my husband. The experience of sharing my knowledge with women to help them attract love into their lives is deeply satisfying for me.

Sometimes it's all about the little things in life. What supplemental courtesies do you include with your main services to leave clients with a smile on their face?

Before women even become my clients, I give them a complimentary session to assess their needs, review their dating history, and help them clarify what kind of support they need to achieve their relationship goals. While women are working with me, I send them to a spa for services so that they can relax and enjoy being pampered. Clients also receive email access to me to have their most personal questions answered and to ensure that they are supported throughout the process of dating and finding the right partner for them.

When and how did you first develop a passion for your work?

For years, relationships were a mysterious struggle for me. Since I seem to be a decent woman, I couldn’t figure out why I couldn’t find a man who would respect me for who I was, instead of trying to make me into his vision of the “perfect woman.” After a great deal of person work on myself and research into what makes relationships successful, I decided to offer coaching to women who might be going through a similar situation to what I experienced. My intention is to help women avoid some of the heartache and pain that I experienced, and to assist them in finding lasting love more easily.

Is there anything else you want to add that we didn't cover?

Women often complain that there are “no good men out there.” The truth is that there are good men available. Women just don’t have the information and support that they need in order to be open and available to find these men. In addition, dating is not just about “techniques” or following “the rules.” I help women prepare themselves emotionally, from the inside out, so that they are truly ready and prepared for love when they meet a great man.
