I had not spent the night before this - only the fabulous food and lavender fields....Would love to do this again !

We enjoyed our stay and plan to return. We checked in Sunday afternoon at 4, to be greeted by a sign that said closed, a bit discouraging. The guard who checked us in was nice, but omitted telling us about the continental breakfast, we were told of it the morning we were checking out on our way to the restaurant for an early lunch before our drive home. Our stroll around the grounds was interesting and a bit sad, we could see what the resort was, and felt that with a bit of work (landscaping, etc...) the place could be restored to it's former grander. The approach would be best if it was brought back to its original tree lined drive to prepare you for the elegance the resort holds.
