About Monica's Cakes

With a background in computer graphics, Monica Hughes has always had an eye for design. But it wasn't until she enrolled in the Patisserie and Baking program at Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts that she combined her design skills with her passion for baking. In the kitchen of Monica's Cakes, she crafts sweets that look as appealing as they taste; sculpted fondant cakes, elaborate cupcakes, and fruit tarts in mini pastry shells are but a few of her specialties. Hughes makes all of her desserts from scratch using fresh fruit, real butter, and other natural ingredients.
