Rochester Optical and Dr. Roberts came highly recommended by a friend. My experience with Rochester Optical was a very positive one. Dr. Roberts cleared up some long standing issues I'd had that my prior doctor could not answer. He was kind, personable, patient & professional in addressing the many questions I had. The staff was terrific - all the same in description - in helping me through the process of choosing the correct eye wear, both glasses & contact lenses. I was so stressed by the time I found Rochester Optical, it was such a relief to have such great assistance in taking care of this part of my health care. I can't say enough good things about Rochester Optical!

seems like you only had frames that were cheap or expensive. Nothing in the mid range ie 99 to 129. cheap one seemed really bad quality for around 59-79 or so but then every thing else was 159 or more. Service was great, very friendly nice atmosphere.

The employees are very friendly and helpful. The prices are reasonable as compared to other higher end stores. The one problem I have is the lack of quality control. Between my husband and I , we've had to have 2 pairs of prescription sunglasses re-made. The lens were improperly ground (I believe) and this was very evident by just looking at them. That should have been noticed not only at the factory prior to disbursement to the store... but also by the store employee. I have a feeling they treat situations like this as "if the customer doesn't notice, leave it be". Not a good thing. I will say that any problems I've ever had in the last 10 years have been taken care of without an argument.
