Desert Skydiving Center carries people into the air in Cessna 182 and 206 planes and then sends them gleefully careening toward the ground. The center offers static parachuting, tandem jumping, and accelerated freefalls alongside experts. Participants can work with an instructor for 30-minutes to eight-hours, depending on the type of jump, before pulling on a parachute and jumping from two miles high. The ground grows rapidly as divers freefall with the wind whipping their faces before they pull the parachute cord and float to the ground or attempt to land on a passing goose.

Working with the owner on the phone was a little frustrating. He wasn't the nicest of people and I felt like I always bothered him. Once we got there however the owner was as friendly as you could imagine. The jump instructors Mark and Mike were absolutely amazing! Fun guys to experience this with. The only other thing was I wanted to get a video and pictures for both me and my friend. I asked if we would be able to jump together and was told yes, so I schedule tThen I get there only to find our that first of all, there is only one videographer and that was the owner and second of all, he hurt his back. So when we got there the only thing we could use was the hand cam. For the record, I was not happy with my video, no one has ever seen it. My friends video did turn out great, so I guess 50% satisfaction isn't bad,

This was my 2nd time doing this and this time .. Me and the person we went to had a hard time with the harness ... It was too tight and left heavy duty bruises .. I also past out for a few and I Bellevue it was because they were so tight .. I did not feel comfortable in thinking they knew what they were doing.

We had called and made reservations for 5 people to come weeks ahead of time. The day before we had to call and cancel 2 people and they said that was ok. Upon leaving they ended up charging us $100 saying we didn't cancel in time. That was never mentioned when we called and canceled. Plus one person in our group payed for a DVD and when we got home and watched it, it was only of them in the plane for like 60 seconds and nothing of them sky diving. The whole thing was a rip off!
