There isn't much wasted space inside Calvert Brewing Company's 30,000-square-foot facility. Fermenters, stacks upon stacks of kegs, and a taproom all fill the building, yet perhaps the most essential items wait outside: locally sourced ingredients and hops that are grown on their farm in Prince Frederick.

Calvert Brewing Company comes from the same minds as Running Hare Vineyard, who now throw their passion into a core menu that includes the Good Company Pale Ale, Calvert Cream Ale, Wye Rye, and Route 4 IPA. These selections flow from taps alongside one-off beers and other special brews, which visitors can sip out in the beer garden during live concerts and other special events. Calvert Brewing Company also supplies its beers to restaurants and bars throughout Maryland so that visitors don't have to keep any stored in their cheeks if they want some later.
