They were seriously unorganized, and none of the bars we went to that we're on the bar crawl list knew they were participating. They didn't offer any bar crawl specials or save us any money really. It was a serious waste of $15, though I'm at least glad I didn't spend the $30 for the regular price. That would've been a travesty.
This Pubcrawl got us absolutely nothing...the businesses didn't even know about it! I felt very ripped off. Glad I didn't pay full price, but still not worth what we paid for less than 10 bars (admission was free anyways, most bars were restaurants!) and a small green plastic cup. Next year, ill do the official bar crawl!
I was not satisfied with Pubcrawls. I don't feel it is managed correctly. Wouldn't recommend to anyone.
This was the biggest scam. I'm not quite sure what we actually paid for. There were not covers and there were not any "drink specials". I would never use that website again.
Pubcrawls.com was terrible. The wrist bands were worthless, as there were no specials or discounts at any of the 8 bars we went to from the pub crawl. The venues stated that they were not even made aware that they were included on the Pub Crawl. The manager of Architect stated that this is not the first time that Pubcrawls.com has done this, and that they are essentially stealing from their customers by falsely claiming these bars to be a participant of the pub crawl. Out of all of the venues, only one bar even knew they were on the list of bars, but even they did not have any specials or discounted cover charges. I will never use PubCrawls.com again, & will warn others about them.
Had problems registering and by the time they checked us In it was late. Very disappointed.
The Pubcrawl company is fraudulent. They take people's money in exchange for a wristband that gets you into numerous bars, provides you one beer or shot at each venue, along with 2 for 1 drink specials. WRONG!!! The bars included in the pubcrawl had not been told of their involvement and were not prepared to offer drink specials. There were no entry fees into the bars, except for one, which we still had to pay. When showing our wristband to the bartenders and bouncers, we were told many times that it was a fraudulent company organizing the pubcrawl who had done this in the past. For our purchase we received a plastic cup, that is it. No beers or shots were included anywhere.
The events in the River North area closed down very early on Sunday and we didn't get to use most of our vouchers
Myself along with 20 others bought tickets to Hartford PubCrawl but we were all extremely disappointed. We registered at Federal Cafe and stayed about an hour. We tried to go to other site listed in the booklet given to us at registration but onl one other venue was opened )black bear) although the list said 12pm opened we informed that other venues participating weren't opened until 9pm. The whole reason we did the pubcrawl was to go to other venues early. All 20 of is were not happy with the misleading information. NEVER AGAIN!!
This pubcrawl is not the Rich and Bennetts bar crawl, which is the bar crawl I want to go to. I feel this was manipulative advertising, since the Rich and Bennetts crawl is largely publicized and the largest pub crawl "in the world".
