The National Veterans Day Run aims to serve as a nationwide demonstration of support for veterans and the men and women currently serving in the United States Armed Forces. Currently, the event includes organized races spread across 15 cities in early November, all united under a common cause. Across the country, these events can include a one-mile walk, a 5K and 11K race, and a half marathon, depending on the city. Proceeds will be used to allow veterans and active-duty military personnel to participate in these races at reduced rates.

They just need to have VENDORS...There were none at all and no motivation music at all....

The biggest issue is that there were no signs to direct us where to go. There was another race at Griffith Park and the runners were standing around LOST because we didn't have a clue.
Once we finally found it, the person in charge didn't even have a flag to commemorate the event.
I won't be participating again.
This was only the 2nd annual so crowds were small- but that didn't bother me.

The race was okay, they had it at a park which wasn't bad but they only had one water station and that water station ran out of water. Also the organizers made a big deal about the time and we did not start on time. Lastly their coordination was not that good and I think they could have used more help.
