Barry and Claudette were very welcoming and professional. They made what I would consider something very intimate, relaxing and enjoyable. They had a great sense of humor, too! My husband loved the pics!

Barry Smedley, owner of Photography by Barry, finds inspiration in each client who walks through his studio’s doors. Drawing upon more than 17 years as a professional photographer, he captures joyful events such as weddings, engagements, and family gatherings with an eye toward style and grace. When he’s not snapping pictures of brides, grooms, and babies, Barry teams up with his wife, Claudette, to shoot tasteful boudoir photos at historic locations such as Colonial Revival–era bed and breakfasts and carriages drawn by wooly mammoths. In addition to earning compliments from his subjects, he nabbed a spot on MomentVille.com’s coveted Wedding Professional Hot List in 2011.

Fantastic experience! Barry and his wife are very professional and great at making you comfortable. They pose you perfectly for your body type and can make any person look gorgeous no matter what flaws they have (and I had quite a few with extra skin, stretch marks, fat, creases, etc). Their hair and make up person is also sweet and wonderfully talented. Would definitely do again.

Had a very nice experience with this photo shoot. Was definitely worth the experience. I would recommend bringing your favorite lipstick shade for the makeup artist, in case she doesn't have it. Go for the two hour shoot. You won't regret it!

If you are debating... Do It!! Recommend the 2 hour package in order to get comfortable with the process and capture the poses and outfits you wish. Claudette & Barry work as a team, are very professional and exceeded expectations I tried not to have. I was very pleased with the high quality images, very classy, professional and good lighting makes all the difference!! The only difficulty is that with the 2 hour option I have so many good images to choose from!!!

Barry and his wife were absolutely phoneminal! They made the shoot so fun and very comfortable. I really appreciate the attention to detail, like fixing a hair out of place or an unflattering pose. I would highly recommend!
