It's a bit hard to find, because it's in a strip along Buford Highway where the signs are mostly in Vietnamese, Thai, Spanish and other languages. But here's a great landmark: It's almost directly opposite a very noticeable house with a giant replica of the Statue of Liberty in front of it. Pale green. You can't miss it. If you pass that, you've just missed it. The food was great; the owner is very attentive and charming. We were the only non-Indian/Asians in the restaurant but did not feel out of place. The samosas were amazing and my husband loved the vegetable curry because "it was loaded with veggies and not too soupy."

While the bulk of the business is take-out, it's worth dining at for the great service.

They close between 3pm and 5pm (during the week, not sure about the weekend). Thankfully we made it there at about 2:30pm. The food was great!

If you miss the old Himalaya Restaurant in Chamblee Plaza before it was sold in the 1990s, try this place: It is run by the original owners of the Himalaya. The food is top flight with the old Himalaya recipes and the prices are very reasonable.

They have authentic Bangladeshi food. Their murog polao(chicken with flavored rice) and Biriyani is awesome. Price is also reasonable. Service is good too. The decoration is not that great but I don't care about that much if the food is good.
