We had an absolutely wonderful time, our tour guide Eugene was very accommodating and very knowledgeable. He let us go at our own pace, which was fantastic and very considerate. The caves were very cool to see even when other areas are not open. I highly suggest you try it out, even if you think you cannot, they will make it enjoyable.

The communication from the staff was excellent and we felt very informed on how to dress and what to be prepared for. Note: Rent the spikes if you don't own them!
Eugene and his cousin were our guides and were super informative about Lake Superior, the brownstone mining and the way the ice formations are created. Loads of fun!

This isn't worth the drive or money. This was misadvertising. We walked along the shore line of lake superior, not any of the Apostle Islands. We also didn't see any of the beautiful ice formations pictured on the site. Our guide knew a bunch of random facts about the lake but didn't have a lot of personality which could have made the tour more interesting.
