About Edmonton Ski Club

Like a snowboarder hurtling end over end through cold mountain air, Edmonton Ski Club displays a nifty aerial view. The club's 25 acres of snowy terrain lie just 5 minutes outside downtown Edmonton, and the city skyline rises up on the horizon much like craggy peaks do at other ski destinations. Five ski runs twist over the frigid slopes, presenting skiers and snowboarders with options for any desired degree of difficulty. The Bunny Hill is where youngsters and novices can learn proper technique by imagining pizza and fry shapes and blocking the mental image of corkscrew pasta, while the Black-Diamond Twin Birch run challenges more seasoned slalomers with steeper pitches and a fair share of bumps. Even more thrills can be found at the Terrain Park—a gauntlet of jumps, rails, bars, and tubes serviced by two lifts.

Everyone from the main desk people to the rental technicians to the instructors (we didn't take lessons but you could hear how kind and positive they were to the kids), to the hill staff were so incredibly friendly and helpful!! The lift operators were always encouraging the kids as they went up the tow-rope, t-bars, whatever... so many happy faces and high-fives! An awesome, fun, family friendly environment. Not too busy and everyone is there just to have fun! Amazing experience will definitely return.

Nice little ski hill in the heart of downtown. Would not recommend a first time skier though as the bunny hill is serviced by a tow rope instead of magic carpets and is a little steep. No chair lifts on the hill so is better for non-beginners.

This ski hill is a hidden gem in our river valley. My kids are different ski levels, and they personalized the lessons to their abilities. It's obviously being run by a new group; the renovations are looking great, and the staff were very awesome!

The girl working at the concession/grill was quite possibly one of the laziest and most ignorant service people I have ever encountered. It seemed as though we were all too much of an inconvenience for her. All of the other staff were very friendly
