About PGA Professional - Sean McGowan

Over the course of his career, PGA professional Sean McGowan has held a variety of positions in the golf business, from golf course operations to golf car sales and service. It wasn't until 1991 that Sean finally realized his true passion: teaching golf. In 1991 and 1996, the PGA certified Sean, and since then, he’s twice earned the honor of a spot on the PGA President’s Council on Growing the Game. The list pays tribute to instructors who are able to motivate adult golfers and make them feel comfortable enough to hit the links more frequently. He teaches private lessons at RiverRidge Golf Complex, a collection of three distinct courses owned and operated by the Jeffries family. Golfers play on the 18-hole; 9-hole executive; and 9-hole, par-3 courses, and hone swings with Sean on the covered practice range and chipping, pitching and putting greens to improve their shot.
