"It's like a real-life video game," says Mathew Niesen, director of the Zombi 5K. And guests experience that excitement as they navigate 5 kilometers of zombie-infested trails. Each runner wears a belt with two flags on it—think flag football in a Rob Zombie music video. As runners dart through the course, zombies try to nab their flags, each lost flag bringing its former owner one step closer to "death." But runners should not fear, as peppered along the course are med kits, which contain extra flags to help them reach the safety of finish line.
