Putting a sign at the entrace telling clients to "please seat themselves" might be helpful. I didn't know whether to sit and wait at a table or go to the front counter.

Unfortunately they had had a big catering contract and, when we were there, the choices were very limited - this needs to be addressed. We will go back another time but if we find the same problem we will not return.
