About Wyldewood Cellars

When the family-owned and -operated Wyldewood Cellars opened in 1994, the winemakers started making wine with good, old-fashioned Kansas elderberries. Today, the winery, recipients of a multitude of international wine-tasting awards, offers more than 40 different wines using berries, grapes, and other fruit, and creates everything from dry white table wines to its classic dessert-sweet elderberry. Two professional International Wine Judges, Dr. John Brewer and Shawn Ramos, manage the wine-making, private wine parties, and teaching visitors about the varietals. The winery also hosts birthdays, anniversaries or bachelorette parties, and fun nights out with friends.
