After applying a topical anesthetic to the treatment area, the ink blotters use a sterile tattoo needle to outline upper eyelids or lips or fill out sparse eyebrows. Each cosmetic process takes anywhere from two to three hours and is tailored to suit the individual’s skin tone, hair color, and makeup preferences. Though the cosmetic tats last for life, touchups may be necessary every three to five years to combat fading, which is often caused by prolonged exposure to sunlight or incubation lamps.

This was a first time experience with permanent eye liner. Lotus Dragon Tattoo is an inviting shop and doesn't look like the funky parlors I'm used to seeing in New York City. Tina is very good about putting you at ease. She talks you through the whole process which can be a bit unnerving because she is working on your eyes. There is no discomfort, really, and Tina keeps asking so you don't have to worry if there is. I was very concerned about the hygiene factor - but once again, Tina is good about keeping things clean, explaining everything and giving you written follow up instructions for care. It's only been a few days since I had it done and so far, no complications...no pain. I would recommend Tina because of the level of care, attention and professionalism she exhibits.

Tina is very personable and shows care and concern in the art work that she is performing on you. She is very professional and will only do art work that will look good on you for a long time. I've received many complements on my eye liner tattoo.
