About Kannapolis Recreation Park

Every summer since 1962, thousands of people flock to Kannapolis Recreation Park looking to beat the heat and have fun with friends. Today, visitors continue that tradition while splashing through the park's full-sized pool and zipping down its two high-speed water slides. Away from the water, families can putt their way across a miniature golf course, and they can munch on snacks and ice cream underneath picnic shelters. In addition to its various activities, the recently renovated park keeps safety one of its top priorities, which is why lifeguards keep watch over all its pools and any plugged sinks.
