Can't use on happy hour! Great food and atmosphere, but happy hour has been seriously diminished as far as options. This is what drew me in the first place!

I always enjoy The Phoenix but, get there early because they usually fill up quickly. It's a small place.

They have great food and great music. You are in for a relaxing evening listening to some great music. There is a $5 cover per person on the weekends, so be prepared.

I went to the Phoenix on a Wednesday night. The live music (with no cover charge) was well chosen for the atmosphere of a downtown jazz bar while not so loud that I couldn't have a conversation.

Go around 7:00 on a Tuesday night. Wonderful good and drink, then experience open call of musicians. Fantastic!
