Crafted from ingredients fresh from local farms, paired with wines fresh from local wineries, and served by waiters fresh from local cloning facilities, the cuisine at 48 North is homegrown in every sense of the word. Under the soft light of chic spherical fixtures, diners dig into such entrees as wild salmon topped with bacon-corn relish, fresh halibut in a blonde beer batter, and chicken drumsticks stuffed with spinach, mushrooms, and sun-dried tomatoes. But although at first blush 48 North appears to be exclusively a gourmet restaurant, a closer inspection reveals the trappings of a sports bar with wide-screen televisions and an impressive lineup of beers on tap.

It was quite quiet and the service was a little slow. But the food was AMAZING. Small-ish portions, but quality made up for the smaller quantities. Will definitely go back.

I would have ticked all four of the above if it allowed. the place was empty it took awhile for our server to come to our table. No decaf coffee so we ordered tea which was just warm. they have a very limited and un intersting menu. More like pub fair. I orderred a chicken ceasar salad which was four or five whole romaine leaves with a bit of dressing dripled over and hardly any parmesan. It took me five minutes to cut it into bite size pieces. My husband ordered fish and chips which was verry greasy, making one think the oil was old. we would not recommend this palce or ever go again. We did leave a tip for the waitress as she may not have a job soon. There were several uniformed cops making serval trips packing out all their liquor. Seemed a little suspicious!

Disappointed in the 48 North Burger. On the menu it sounded very saucy and tasty. It was actually not very good------ dry bun, and no moist, tasty sauce as I had expected. Also, the fries were not uniformly good. Pretty disappointing for $16.
