Since 1997, Wildside has been growing fresh fruit on 30 acres of rolling farmland just a few miles south of Versailles. The winery was dubbed "Wildside" because of the abundance of wildflowers growing there and their minimal use of pesticides. Today they have over eleven acres of grapes, three acres of fruit trees, and 1.5 acres of berries.
Wildside Winery is on its eleventh year as a Kentucky winery specializing in making quality wines from Kentucky-grown grapes and fruit. They make over 30 wines in all styles, from a range of dry reds to white wines and sweeter fruit wines. Wildside also hosts weddings, meetings, parties, and reunions. Cheese trays and snack items are also available.
