Loved the eye doctor! Had some issues with the rep who did my glasses. I wasn't asked what I wanted, I was told! I am on a tight budget and I told him that! By the time I was finished, I spent $763.00! Wasn't sure about getting the progressive which was $300.00 more! I don't wear them. Received 3 free prs of contacts and they were expired. Took them back and they didn't have any new ones. Went back for a receipt because I never received one. The receptionist was wonderful!!

I told them that I had medicare and that I was entidled to a free eye checkup and a free complete set of glasses after having caterac surgery. They said that they checked and did not find that info and the charged me $220.00 I called medicare and they said that they will call them and straighten them out. Still waiting for an answer

They didn't give me any options on cost of frames prior to trying them on and choosing them. Since the appointment takes place in front of others who are anxiously waiting their turn, there is little opportunity for privacy and/or discussion about pricing, especially if you have a small budget and weren't in the market for a $600 pair of frames! The doctor was thorough, but they don't tell you the optician is only there every 2 weeks on Saturday! Overall, I felt I was scammed into purchasing something I could not afford and felt uncomfortable saying no in front of a room full of strangers. Never again.
