Interesting and hands-on photo refresher.....helped me to take some good pictures over the Thanksgiving weekend and also motivated me to get a better lens for my DSLR. Gwen was knowledgeable and fun and had a good supporting document for a 'takeaway' to be used later.

The information presented in Gwen Morris' photography workshop was very helpful and definitely allowed me to be more comfortable with my camera and its capabilities. It would have been nice to be ready to go right when the class started to maximize everyone's time as well as given us another opportunity to take pictures outside with it being very cold that day.

The only complaint I have is that Gwen was late in getting there and getting things set up. So we didn't start until almost 30 minutes late, but when we finished, she finished on time. We were not taken to the second location to take pictures, like we were told we would do. If you start 30 minutes, you should stay 30 minutes later to make up for it. I also feel that there were too many students, which she also stated, and that also contributed to things taking longer than usual. I thought the training was good, but it would have been nice to get what we paid for. Complete four hours, smaller class size and 2nd location photo shoot.

I think the class would have been better if there was a smaller number of people attending it. There were 11 people and there wasn't enough time to work one on one with each person.

We just got a DSLR camera and took Gwen's Intro to Manual Photography. In 3 hours we learned enough to take (some) really good pictures! We have a lot of practice ahead of us - there is soooo much to remember - but Gwen made it attainable and we are very excited to hone our newly acquired knowledge into skills. If you want to learn what all those buttons mean on your fancy camera, you won't be sorry you took Gwen's class.
