Our group consisted of two 30-somethink women and three 16 year olds. Annie was great with everyone -- allowing and encouraging each to really think about what was right for them, while sincerely complimenting and boosting everyone's confidence. She is a lovely personality.

A really fun place with lots of great soap and related products. I really enjoyed the class I took with Annie. She obviously knows her stuff!

It was very interesting & a great way to learn how to appreciate what goes into blending oils to make scents that we may take for granted when we whiff commercially blended perfumes...more to it than it seems. The staff was geat!

I'm also glad I picked up a few additional products; some soap and air freshener. All are highest quality. Going to Opal'z is like going to a private little retreat, and it's right in midtown! Really fun experience.

Thank you for the class. While I had some fun blending my own perfume, I found the instructor to be less than good. She didn't really spend as much time as I expected on the mixing properties of perfume or fragrances vs essential oils. And when people came in late, she didn't stop to bring them up to speed. And the class was really just on its own after the initial 20 minutes of information. I'd also recommend a little refresh of the space itself - it looks very old and a bit dirty. I hope this helps - I don't mean to be critical as I think the idea is great.
