The brisket and the pulled pork are very good. The owner told me he used to do competitive BBQ. On the day (01/05/15) he had a steady stream of people. If the kids like it, it's a winner.

I recommend the ribs and baked beans. Both are the best barbecue that I have had in a long long time. I definitely will be back soon.

This is NOT a stand alone restaurant but a small dining area inside an Exxon convenience store with mostly a take out business. Still I thought the food was really good, offered a variety of bbq sauces, and the owner was very gracious in his manner and treatment of customers. Google maps has address all wrong as it is near the intersection of Spillway Rd and Old Fannin Rd. I would eat there again if in the area but not frequently since I live west of Jackson.
