About Katchlight Photography

Before Adobe released Photoshop––before, indeed, he ever picked up a camera––Mike Long busily refined his photo-retouching skills. These days, he draws on more than 20 years of retouching experience as he creates his own portraits at Katchlight Photography. Here, shoots cater to children, who can don their favorite clothes and costumes and pose with cherished toys or political treatises. Each in-studio sessions unfolds against a white background. In post-production, Mike can add in custom artwork or thematic backdrops, such as castles or sandy beaches.
