Founded on the belief that buying homegrown produce has myriad benefits both great and small, from supporting the local economy to reducing our global footprint, DoorStep produce delivers batches of fresh produce to customers' doorsteps—eliminating the need to venture out to the farmer's market or rifle through the supermarket's bins for the manager's secret hoards of carrots. Before delivering them every one or two weeks, the staff hand-inspects all items and packs them into specialty boxes boxes ranging from standard vegetables and herbs to more adventurous veggies such as persimmons and wild mushrooms, as well as recipes that suggest how to combine the varied ingredients into a healthy meal.
