Pain. The holistic healers at Integrative Bodywork, Inc view this as not only the word describing a physical symptom, but also the acronym for the phrase "Putting Attention INward." They see pain as the body's cry for help, a manifestation of trauma, and that people need to turn their attention in toward themselves to overcome it.

To do so, they use the Unified therapy process. Unified therapy practitioners believe that it can be used to unlock traumas. Some techniques used include stretching, resistance exercises, and massage. Practitioners use natural pain management and noninvasive methods, and collaborate with patients and their physicians or therapists to create beneficial health results. Jim Fazio, a massage therapist since 1995, learned about the treatment while working with its creator, and began implementing its healing techniques with his patients at Integrative Bodywork in 2006.

Fazio is joined at Integrative Bodywork by registered nurse Ralph de St. Aubin. He consults on patients on a variety of health matters, including chronic pain, thyroid conditions, and digestive and nutritional issues. He also specializes in microcurrent point stimulation therapy, the practice of lessening pain and restricted movement from scars.
