About Corner Store Country Run - San Antonio

From serious runners to leisurely walkers and from individuals to families, the runners competing in the Corner Store Country Run 5K are encouraged to replace their shorts and sweat-wicking t-shirts with their "finest country duds," be they overalls or straw hats. At the finish line, they join in a post-race jamboree with free swag, live music, food, carnival games, face painting, a photo booth, and a beer garden. Chip timing is available for those with a competitive streak, and prizes will be awarded for the fastest folks in each class. Adults enjoy two free beer tickets, and every runner gets the joy of knowing that all proceeds benefits charitable organizations such as Big Brothers Big Sisters of America.
