Very slow service, the food was generally good tasting but the service was so slow some of it was cold by the time it came to our table.

All in all a very satisfactory experience. The soup wasn't hot but other than that it was all very good. Service was good, ambiance is acceptable considering its location.

Besides serving sushi in the classic manner the Tokyo Cafe indulges an innovative, even whimsical, approach to their dishes.. Allow yourself to venture away from the expected into these enjoyable inventions. Be wary though -- the bill can dance higher too.

Make sure each person at the table has an order in front of them within 5 minutes. We received our drinks after the 1st dish was received. Our order was delivered piece meal, so each person started eating at different times. One person did not get her order until everyone else had finished eating. Otherwise the quality was very good.
