Family-owned and operated restaurant, The House of Q, specializes in homemade barbecue, rubs, and sauces, and has a running tradition: the Q Challenge. The Challenge taunts participants with the three-pound Q-Zilla, a sandwich stuffed with three burgers, half-pound of brisket, half-pound of pulled pork, two sausage links, nine slices of cheese, and onion rings. The challenge doesn't end there: multiple pounds of steak fries and a pecan pie tops it off. Once a victor beats the previous challenge, they get naming rights to the challenge. But it isn't just the naming rights that bring people back to this barbecue restaurant. The smoky hickory flavor does that all by itself.
