About Midwest Massage

For more than 20 years, Midwest Massage owner Sheldon Haas has been using his hands to help heal and relax clients by providing services backed by an average of 30 hours of continuing education each year. Beyond employing Swedish and deep-tissue techniques to thwart pain and tension, he uses his experience working for the Avera Mckennen Hospital and Wellness Center and Midwest Orthopedic Center to help correct chronic and difficult issues. Medical or ortho massage is one of his specialties and targets specific problem areas by working down through individual layers using a blend of deep tissue, myofacial release, and range of motion restoring methods. Whatever style of massage you choose, Sheldon takes care to customize each service to your individual preferences, listening carefully for cues to your desired level of pressure and softly reciting your favorite Walt Whitman poems entirely from memory.
