I hate to leave negative feedback but hopefully it can be used constructively to improve your services. I had a facial and I have to say, probably the worst I've ever had. I have had many many facials at many different spas in and outside of Edmonton. This one was just bad. First and foremost, my hair was not wrapped with a towel before the facial began. So as the facial went on I could only internally cringe as I felt product constantly being smeared into my hair and repeatedly wiped down with a dry towel, this really ruined the whole thing for me as all I could think of was what a disaster my hair would be when I got out, and as suspected, I looked like a scarecrow, all the product had now dried in, I couldn't get my fingers through my hair and it was standing on end in every direction, it was embarrassing - I had to change my plans and go directly home afterward to wash my hair - that is a first. Next were the ill-fitting gloves she wore, I am not complaining about the fact that gloves were worn however when they are made of loose plastic all you hear is constant crinkling. And either the gloves had a foul chemical smell or it was the product, hopefully just the gloves but that was unpleasant. Then there was the product that got into my eye and started to burn, that was a first for me. Lastly just the fact that the facial was done in complete silence, I never knew what was happening - I like to know what's going on at each step, that may just be a personal preference of mine, not sure. Despite all of these downfalls I will say that it was not for lack of trying on the part of the esthetician - she was very pleasant, took the time to interview me, and I think she did try her best to do a good job, it just seemed like the training was lacking.
