Follow the driving directions given on the website. It's very straightforward and will get you there without trouble. I would definitely recommend Wind River Cellars! The owner is wonderful, the wines are amazing, and it was so fun to try our hand at mixing our own blends. I look forward to visiting again!

Beautiful view, very small establishment, owner does not lack in personality! Be prepared - you won't be pampered or coddled, but for those with a good attitude and open mind, it is worth the drive. Not a good destination for your standard 'tourist'

I highly recommend Wind River Cellars! Such a wonderful experience. Amazing view and a fun little winery. I felt so welcomed and enjoyed being able to make our own wine! I will definitely be going back!

Has potential to be really charming, yet the cleanliness and service was off-putting. The idea of making our own wine was really innovative, yet, we felt like we were in somebody's garage squeezing out hooch with a turkey baster! The potential is there, yet it fell short of what we could have experienced, especially given the location, and surrounding landscape.

The road to the winery was a gravel road with "big" potholes that almost bottomed out my car. The "tour" was standing on the balcony looking at the vineyards (about 5 min) unorganized and not informative. The guide was unable to locate the lights in the cellar where the wine barrels were. No barrel tasting was available due to not knowing the location of the lights or where the riesling was kept. No wine blending was done due to lack of this knowledge, we ended up taking pre bottled wine home. Overall........VERY disappointing :(
