I’m only sorry it’s taken me until now to finally check out the Ventura Harbor Comedy Club. The place is a total hoot from beginning to end.
The owner and staff are like your good friends by the time we left. And the lineup of comedians was terrific. In addition to the two headliners there two other comedians and both were great. The whole evening was filled with much needed laughter.

Great comedy, and a local small business owner who knows how to make you feel welcome. We love our historic Ventura staple.

Such a great place for date night!! We are really into stand up, so it was great to go somewhere close to home to watch it live! However, I wish it would have been noted here that they have a 2 item minimum per person to order. We got dinner and drinks before and then ended up having to awkwardly order more although we were full from earlier. Next time, we know that we can eat there!!

I like that it's a very intimate place where you aren't elbow to elbow with the people at the table next to you.
The food is very good and the comedians, at least the ones that I've experienced have been extremely funny. Definitely an entertaining experience everytime.
