About Great Northern Riding Club

Surrounded by tall trees, the lush grasses and groomed arenas of Great Northern Riding Club look like a paradise conjured up from the imagination of Black Beauty himself. Kimberly Jo Simac, the head trainer there, has more than 25 years of equine experience under the belt of her breeches, and puts it to use during interactions with both horses and students. Each summer, trainers welcome girls for overnight camps and kids ages 7 and older for daytime lessons that culminate in a refreshing swim.
