The treatment takes place at a local Osteopathic Doctor's Office in a cute, older building. Donna handles the LHR for the office and she is great! Super friendly and licensed RMA, LE, LEI, CLP, CLI, & LSO. Donna does a lot to limit discomfort. When I got my face done, she used cooling ultrasound gel on the LHR site and distraction therapy (you hold a vibrating ball/handle and put a wet paper towel over teeth.) She provided an ice pack and applied sunscreen after the treatment. Note that the machine is a Cutera CoolGlide per Balch's website. It has a very cold tip to help limit burning/pain, BUT it is an IPL laser machine. For me, this led to more discomfort/pain than other LHR experiences using laser at other businesses.
