About Twin City Hive

Joey Burdette and Terry Miller didn't initially intend to open a coffee shop—it just kind of happened. As the owners of Revolution Gliding Tours, they spent their days leading guided segway tours of downtown Winston-Salem. But as time went by, Joey and Terry began to notice something: after each tour, their customers often stuck around, chatting with one another about the sights they had seen, or simply sitting and relaxing after the excursion. The coffee shop vibe had basically created itself—all that was missing was the actual coffee.

Today, Twin City Hive serves as the meeting spot for each of Revolution Gliding's Tours, but it also welcomes neighbors and visitors to drop by and relax with a cup of locally-roasted coffee or some artisan chocolates. Sweets, pastries, and artisanal teas are also available, and the shop even offers special coffee and chocolate catering packages for weddings and other special events.
