About Blue Water Seafood and Crab
Hello! Blue Water Seafood & Crab is Craig and Irene's first restaurant. After working for big chain restaurants for many years, Craig's dream has been to open his own place where he can cook and serve his favorite foods. When Craig and Irene got married a few of years ago, they decided it was time to do it and started looking for a location. In the summer of 2012, they found the perfect place in Willow Glen and put a lot of work into the spot to make it their own. They spent seven great years in Willow Glen serving up delicious meals and getting to know the community. Sadly, 2020 came along with all the Covid-19 challenges and the Willow Glen location had to be closed. Thanks to everyone who made the Willow Glen location such a wonderful place to hangout.

Looking forward, Craig and Irene focused their resources on their second restaurant in the @First Shopping Center on North First Street in San Jose. After a long delay due to the Covid-19 orders, construction was finally completed at the end of the summer of 2020. The new restaurant has turned out amazing. Compared to the first restaurant, everything has practically doubled: Parking. Dining room capacity. TVs. Bar seating. A huge outdoor patio for enjoying Brunch and Happy Hour. Social distancing will be easy with all this space. Please come in and try us out!

Why Seafood & Crab? Being from Maryland, Seafood & Crab are some of Craig's favorites. Irene is more of a Land Lover who appreciates a good burger. So, our menu has something for everyone, including kids.
What about the Shark? Craig is a huge San Jose Sharks fan. When designing the restaurant decor, Craig said that a life-sized, animatronic shark would be an awesome focal point. So, he had the shark custom made for Blue Water.
What about the Crab? The giant inflatable crab is also custom made for Blue Water. It's a big attention grabber that we like to put out for special events.
What about the Whale? Craig wanted something special for the new restaurant and he wanted it to be BIGGER than the shark. So, he had the Orca whale custom made for Blue Water. Yep! It's life-sized, animatronic, and forever locked in a chase to get the shark.
