Sundays at the Symphony with the New Philharmonic Orchestra of Irving! Don't miss our 37th season for afternoons of great music - sunny music from Spain and Mexico, symphonies, including a saxophone concerto rarely heard in concert halls and one of the earliest, Haydn's famous "Clock," plus holiday choral music with Dallas's Arts District Chorale and our annual holiday sing-along!

And there's always something interesting to do in the lobby from 2:30 p.m. - so plan to come early to meet artists, shop a silent auction or holiday market, meet people and have a cookie or something cool.

October 6: Inspired! opening the season with the light-hearted rhythms of Mexico, France, and Austria (Haydn's "Clock" Symphony) and a silent auction!

December 15: Singing for Joy. Dallas's Arts District Chorale joins us in two great choral works of Christmas, Bach's "Magnificat," Vivaldi's "Gloria" and a sing-along!

February 16:. A whirl of rhythm! For Valentine's Day, high-spirited music from Spain (de Falla, Rodrigo, Padilla, Turina), Rimski-Korsakov's "Capriccio espagnole"

March 30: Meet the saxophone... you'll hear great music we call "unfinished" by Borodin and Schubert, Rachmaninoff's "Youth" Symphony," Jacobi's sax concerto!

May 18: Into the stars! Blast off with us in "Star Wars" by John Williams, music of Beethoven, Khachaturian, soft melodies by Handel, Humperdinck and discover a young artist, soloing in a concerto, as Irving's best student musicians join us.
