My Hometown Fest was founded by Sertoma Club of Greater Sarasota in spring 2016 as a fundraiser to support the club’s charitable activities for children and adults. These include Sertoma Kids Speech and Language Center, which serves families regardless of their ability to pay. 

Each year, My Hometown Fest draws thousands of people from Florida’s Suncoast for a day of fun featuring food from dozens of area restaurants, craft beer samples from around the country, and live music from the region’s bands. The event features plenty of family friendly activities as well.

About My Hometown Fest

My Hometown Fest features regional food, live music, and Craft Beverage/spirits samples from throughout southwest Florida on March 26 at Nathan Benderson Park. The event features free food samples from dozens of Sarasota-Manatee restaurants, free craft beer and spirits samples from local, regional and national breweries, and great live music from Twinkle & Rock Soul Radio, Derek Lersch Band, and Ten-76. There are also plenty of family-friendly activities! Proceeds benefit Sertoma Club of Greater Sarasota and Sertoma Kids, Inc., which serve children and adults with speech, language, and hearing challenges.
