The 808 Diode Laser is manufactured according to the latest technology and highest quality components. With a long pulse width and 808nm wavelength, this laser hair removal system penetrates the epidermis to destroy hair follicles. Based on the selective photothermolysis theory, laser energy is preferentially absorbed by melanin in hair, damaging the hair follicle which loses its ability to regenerate, this process is only successful when the hair is in its growth phase. As all hair follicles are not always in the same phase. Multiple treatments are required to destroy all of the follicles at the precise phase. Our unique sapphire contact cooling technology in the hand piece cools down the epidermis to prevent any thermal injury and minimize discomfort. Therefore, the Luxion Laser System is a mild discomfort treatment for permanent hair reduction after 6 sessions. 6-10 sessions may be required.
