Data-Led Dough: Wenzel’s Harnesses Groupon to Supercharge UK Footfall
30% off breakfast and lunch bundles now live across 109 stores

Wenzel’s, the beloved family-run bakery with over 100 UK stores, has teamed up with Groupon to launch exclusive digital offers - giving customers 30% off fresh, ready-to-go meals via the Groupon platform. 

The partnership marks a first between the high-street bakery brand and the global local marketplace, uniting two trusted names around a shared mission: helping people enjoy more of what they love, for less. Wenzel’s, which celebrates its 50th anniversary this year, is a British business success story, still led by founder Peter Wenzel. His promise: to serve the full community with a blend of heritage products and innovative items - freshly made every day and priced properly.  

The Wenzel’s and Groupon collaboration lands as the cost-of-living squeeze continues: 52%* of Britons say they are cutting non-essential spend this year, making value-first propositions a priority for trade buyers and consumers alike.

Wenzel’s is entering the deal with strong momentum. Newly-filed accounts show full-year turnover up 11.2% to £68.3 million, while investment in a high-capacity sandwich plant is geared to “aggressive expansion into white-space regions we’ve never traded in.” 

Customers will be offered a 30% discount with prices (after discount) starting at £4.32. The deal includes: 

  • Meal Deal for Two – 2 baguettes, 2 drinks and 2 snacks for £9.66
  • Meal Deal for Four – 4 baguettes, 4 drinks and 4 snacks for £17.50
  • Bundle Deal 1 – Roll + coffee + doughnut £4.32
  • Bundle Deal 2 – Doughnut + coffee + sausage roll £4.68
