Tasha is wonderful! I would definitely recommend her
We had the couples massage. The satisfaction with this experience really depends on which massage therapist you get. Natasha was amazing! My husband's therapist-not so much.
I was disappointed with my experience here. I was expecting a no frills location with a really good massage. It is no frills, but I didn’t get the good massage. Staff was friendly and I loved the extra padding on the table.
Our couples massage was nice, not amazing though. I appreciated my massage therapist's communicativeness about things like amount of pressure, and my husband said he liked his massage okay (but that it wasn't the best he'd ever had). Mainly I was a disappointed in the environment of the place. Not luxurious, zen, or spa-like - the furniture in the waiting area seemed like it was sourced from garage sales or thrift stores, and the bathroom seemed old and outdated. I know those sound like trivial things, but I was hoping for a more luxurious experience to celebrate my husband's birthday. Another issue was that my massage therapist had to leave the room twice to check on her daughter. I actually didn't realize that was why she was leaving the room and probably would have thought nothing of it except that she was so apologetic about it, which kind of disrupted my mental state of relaxation. The biggest issue I had, though, was that after our massage there was no way for us to tip our massage therapists using a credit card. Since we were the last customers for the day, the receptionist had already gone home (even though the place wasn't technically closed until the end of our massage). It felt awkward to tell the massage therapists "sorry, we'll send a tip next week" (because we were there on a Friday of a 3-day weekend). Then I got conflicting answers about whether or not I could tip over the phone - someone I messaged on Facebook said I could, but when I called the receptionist said I couldn't and would have to come in person (a 45 min. drive for us), but when I pressed him he said, "Let me check" and then it turned out I could after all - but no apology for his initial mistake. So my overall impression of the place was just "meh" - even though the massage itself was fine and there wasn't any one specific terrible thing that happened, the little things added up to it not being the overall treat I was hoping for.
I was extremely disappointed. I got an self proclaimed expert LMT who proceeded to tell me what was wrong with me and was extremely pushy on rebooking several follow ups with her. The list goes on and on....I hope they get new staff soon...this used to be such a great place.
We went for a couples massage. I was set with the female therapist and my boyfriend was set with a male therapist. The male therapist was breathing very heavy from the beginning and made things uncomfortable. The pressure was also very hard/rough (even after requesting the soften the pressure a couple times). I was set with a very nice lady that has a different technique then most massages (not one that I like). I had mentioned my “tight” points and where I wanted her to focus, but only about 15 min out of the 90 was spent on those areas, and there was physically no pressure. It felt like fingers running on my body for 90 minutes. Would not recommend.
Worst massage ever. I. Had a specific pain area and she spent half the time not anywhere near that area. Then for 10 min, the masseuse was just standing there talking to me instead of massaging
